URL filters are going to
take place which will block the sacrilegious
content on all the websites. Therefore YouTube might be unblocked soon in Pakistan
According to media report URL filter is provided by PTCL and it is
capable of blocking sites across all ISPs. The ministry of IT will now prepare
a list of blocked URLs and handed over to Pakistan Telecommunication Authority
for execution. Then in about a weak application will be written to
remove ban from YouTube
