Wayne Rooney named as substitute for Manchester United's opening Premier League match against Swansea City

The 27-year-old, who remains determined to leave Old Trafford this month in order to move to Chelsea, reported for training at Manchester Uniteds Carrington base on Friday and completed a full session with the first-team before travelling to South Wales in the afternoon.
Manager David Moyes is understood to be ready to name Rooney on the bench on Saturday due to doubts over the fitness of Javier Hernandez, who has been troubled by a hamstring injury.
