British-Pakistani Boxer Amir Khan defeats Luis Collazo to become the welterweight champion, at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las vegas. Khan who has Played 32 matches and has lost only 3 times, gave Luis Collazo a lesson in the ring on May 3rd. Khan was dominant from start to finish in the 12 round battle, putting Collazo to the ground three times. After this win, Amir's ex trainer Freddie Roach has said that there is a possible showdown between Khan and Floyd Mayweather in 2014.Aamer Farooq
